Forming of TCL Art Collective

It has been an extremely busy but fulfilling few weeks. My friends Mel Dewey, Paula Hickey, Sue Wright & Ann Barrass from the MA course and I have come together to form an artistic collective. There are many reasons why we have formed this group:

• to keep an artistic connection that will help us all drive our individual practices forward (being an artist can be isolating!)
• generate dialogue and discussion with each other & the wider artistic community
• support each other in our goals 
• continue critical analysis of our work
•  create and organise exhibitions and informal events
• to generally enjoy what we do and embrace the possibilities!!!       

​We recently held our first event at the LS6 Café in Leeds. Taking over a space upstairs we organised an opening event for our two week long exhibition. It was received extremely well with all of us selling some work. This has been such a positive experience for us all and we are very geared up and excited about our next project. As I type we are all active in sourcing, creating  and generally making things happen. These are exciting times watch this space!!! Follow us on.........
